The extra 80 pounds gained was not a natural part of pregnancy. It was from toxemia and made me very very sick, and also resulted in an emergency c-section after laboring all day. I'm doing my best to have this pregnancy natural and to stay as healthy as I can. That includes gaining only a certain amount of weight, not 80 pounds. I know I will lose the weight afterwards, I just don't know if my body will do what it did last time and so I'm working hard to do all I can to prevent it.Nic Ridleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03484702942932283885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17605411.post-6543720418973583892010-09-19T03:31:16.183-04:002010-09-19T03:31:16.183-04:00I wish you wouldn't go on about weight gain so...I wish you wouldn't go on about weight gain so much. It is a natural part of pregnancy. And from reading your blog it would seem you lead a fairly active life when you aren't pregnant, and presumably that won't change once you've had this second child. And really, if you are a few pounds heavier at the end of it, does it really matter as long as you are healthy?? I'm sorry to say that I think you are bordering on vanity, this predisposition with weight.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17605411.post-38592355858316652682010-09-18T07:41:39.840-04:002010-09-18T07:41:39.840-04:00Thanks Erin! Thanks Erin!Nic Ridleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03484702942932283885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17605411.post-58257262675480011052010-09-17T16:44:45.458-04:002010-09-17T16:44:45.458-04:00I think you are beautiful in this picture!
You&#...I think you are beautiful in this picture! <br /> You'll do fine with the weight gain--I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had a lot of people telling me I would have a harder time losing weight after the second baby, but for me it wasn't true. And I gained less with Grace than with Jon (I think boys require more weight gain maybe?). Anyway, all that to say I think you were (and are) beautiful, and not to stress too much about the weight. :-)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02290861920778412699noreply@blogger.com
