Why do these kinds of poses look cool on models and ridiculous on regular people?

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this color combo and the necklaces look so cool! I'm not sure about the top pose, I think models are just so stinkin' tall they can get away with doing lots of crazy poses that short or average people can't do. lol

You made me laugh about the posing thing -- I was JUST thinking about that particular type of pose the other day, the shoulders hunched forward and midsection sucked back unnaturally, lol...how do they DO that??? But there you've gone and done it yourself and nailed it! Not sure why they pose like that...I'm sure it flatters some body part or makes the clothes drape just so. But it's cute that you tried it :)
