Art Prize

This past weekend we went up to Grand Rapids, Michigan to see my family. I wanted to see how my Papa was doing (he recently had a massive stroke), and also see Art Prize while I was there.

 

Art Prize was amazing. I discovered lots of adorable little shops along the way, this shop below being one of them. Called Vue Design, they custom design wedding gowns. Their style was impeccable and their shop was heaven.  

 My sister came with me looking as cute and stylish as ever.

 I miss Grand Rapids and wish I still lived there.

Shopping Saturday

I met my Mom and sis at The Somerset Mall in Troy, MI, yesterday. We spent the entire day there and I'm sure there was so much more to see than we saw!

I bought a double wrap skinny black leather belt from Banana Republic for only $4 (originally $50), and I bought a pin stripe pencil skirt from Banana for only $8 (orignally $60). But the purpose of our trip was to help my Mom get a few much needed things for her trip to Cabo San Lucas that is coming up soon. We got a few things for her, but she has a lot more to get, and unfortunately, I'll miss out on the rest of her shopping trips. Luckily I got to be in on this one!

Some Christmas Pics

This is what I wore Christmas Day. My husband bought me the necklace from Target, the earrings are from Premier Jewelry, my Mother-in-Law bought me the sweater from Gap, I got the jeans from Maurices with my giftcards, and the clogs are thrifted. My son thought it necessary to be in the picture while eating his pizza, and pointing at my outfit. He's getting so goofy these days!

After we opened our gifts Christmas morning, we drove three hours to see my parents and siblings, so I wanted my outfit to be comfortable for the drive. It was very comfortable, and it felt so good to wear all brand new items that I had just opened up for Christmas!
And here I am with two of my four sisters. Jo is on my right and Li on left. And of course, my son had to be in this picture too! In this picture I'm wearing my brand new Jessica Simpson boots (from my husband for Christmas), and my J.Brand skinny jeans (from husband for Christmas).

Jo got her top on clearance at The Limited a couple of days after Christmas, and Li's outfit is something she already had.

I had a wonderful Christmas and got tons of new clothes! I can't wait to start creating new outfits and showing them all to you!
