Revlon Fantasy Lengths

Remember when I posted about trying out Revlon's false eyelashes? Well I've finally had a chance to try them.

For this being my first application, I think they look ok. I was impressed with how easy they actually were to apply and then how natural they look once on before applying mascara. I need to practice more later on to get them to look even better, but for now I'm loving the fun, flirty look.

I'm wearing the Fantasy Length version that you glue on. My eyes must be big, because I didn't have to cut them at all and had plenty of space on each side that could have used some more lash. I've worn them all day so far without any problems.

Missi told me you are supposed to apply mascara to falsies, so I added two coats of black mascara for even more pizazz. Then I lined both the top and bottom rims with a thick coat of black eyeliner. To soften the look, I brushed on the turquoise shadow on the top and bottom, over the liner. I added white highlighter to the brow bone and inner corners of my eyes, as well as a darker shade of blue green to the eyelid crease.

Outfit for Bachelorette Party

There is nothing like a bachelorette party to give you a good excuse to wear something out of the ordinary. =)

White eyeliner. Can you tell?

This isn't a great self portrait, and I didn't spend more then 2min doing my makeup...but still. Can you tell I'm wearing white eyeliner? I think you can tell in person and I think it looks good! lol! I feel like it really opens up my eyes and makes my lashes look super dark.

I'm wearing a bit of bronzer, clear lip gloss, black mascara and white eyeliner:)

Eyeliner!

Eyeliner

I really do like eyeliner. I like the soft tip pencils and the liquid liners. I've recently started using my liners in more then just above my lash line. I can give my eyes a really dramatic look by applying my liner to the inner rim of my upper and lower lashes. Here's a small tip though: if you are going to apply liner, you should always start on the outside corners and work your way inwards.
The one thing bad about eyeliner is it can get a little time consuming. You really do have to be careful so as not to make mistakes, and using it every day really isn't appropriate. So what I've started to do is just use my eye shadow colors as my eyeliner. My favorite color is a deep purple that almost looks brown/black once applied. Using it as liner on my upper lid gives me a very subtle, smokey look that appears effortless (see picture below, and no, that is not me). I also like to use a lighter shadow (often with a bit of shimmer to it) under my lower lashes to help open my eyes and make them appear brighter.
