What to Wear to a Graduation Ceremony

I don't know about you, but we get invited to a lot of graduations this time of year. In case you're in the same boat, here are a few ideas for what to wear to a graduation ceremony:

Try ladylike polka dots. Pair with a classic pair of pumps in a neutral color. This dress is by Adrianna Papell.

A bright colored stripe in a classic fit and flare shape can be worn as an everyday dress with espadrille wedges, a braided belt, and cardi. Take the belt and cardi off, add this necklace and this shoe, and you'll step the look up a notch. This dress is by Land's End

A shift in a snazzy/trendy print, but lightweight fabric is an effortless look. Keep the look fresh by just adding bangles and nude platform wedges. To ground the look a little more, try adding black accessories like a black bubble necklace and black stilettos. This dress is from Glik.

A nautical navy and white stripe is a perfect spring/summer look for any daytime occasion. Accessorize with hot pink to give it a little extra pizazz. This dress is by Asos.

For a smart, but still very feminine look, try a white eyelet sheath. It doesn't look too corporate because of the eyelet, but doesn't look too girly because of the shape. Accessorizing a white dress is like painting on a blank canvas - anything from colorful to neutral will look chic. This dress is by Nine West from Belk.
