Four days late now. But I can't help but expect it. My Mom was always late with hers, and she had 11. And when I say late, I mean like 2, 3, and even 4 weeks late with one of them! I saw the midwife last week and she said everything is ready and I could go any day - she said I dropped three weeks ago, and everything feels like I'm ready, so I guess we'll just wait and see. I'll just have to keep nice and distracted with lots of fun stuff for the next couple of weeks so I don't get anxious.
Well, you look beautiful! And I'm sure you're going to have a great birth! :) Hang in there, girl!

ReplyDelete@Sherry - lol! Everyone has plenty of opinions of whether I dropped or not. It always depends on what I'm wearing or the picture...but I'm not even 5 feet tall, so my belly stays looking the same. The reason my midwives know I dropped three weeks ago is the exam showed the baby's head way down low (and a few other things that I was feeling). Of course, that never guarantees any exact date of delivery, so I know it doesn't mean the baby is going to come right away. I didn't get to wait with my first, so I'm excited I get to be surprised with this one and don't mind the waiting. Thanks for your prayers!
Megan, I hope you don't have to wait this time around! Thankfully I'm doing ok waiting, but I'm guessing the anxiety will start setting in if nothing happens within the next two days!
