First day of wearing my cowboy boots! Reminds me of the boots I had as a child growing up in the woods of southeast Texas. Back in Texas where I used to live, you couldn't go out in the backyard without boots like these, because there were rattlesnakes and copperheads everywhere. Of course, those boots were real ones. These are pretend. The pretend ones are a lot more comfortable, for the record.
