Christmastime

We were originally thinking that we would be in our new house by Christmastime, so I didn't think I would be doing much decorating. Obviously we underestimated the time this large a renovation would take. We have no plans to move into the new house before Christmas, let alone before February! 

The kids enjoyed picking out a little live tree at Menards, and we all got to decorate it while listening to Christmas carols and recalling memories from past Christmases. Whatever time we get with Chris these days is pretty special, but adding Christmas decorating to it, and we were all enjoying a little piece of heaven.
