Outfit Post: A belly band works wonders...

Going on a date tonight, and so glad it's finally cold enough to pull out my favorite boots! Lately I've really been into bracelets and rings. I notice them so much on others, and always neglect wearing them myself. I'm determined to collect more and start piling on the hand and wrist jewelry instead of necklaces all the time.
And THANK GOODNESS I bought this belly band! This is the first time I've had to wear it, and am impressed with how great it works! I think I'll use this for my tighter jeans even when the pregnancy weight is gone, because it's great for making tight jeans feel comfortable...especially if you plan to eat a lot for the evening!

  3. I'm confused. How does the belly band work? Does it allow you to unbutton the jeans? Or does it just flatten your stomach? Or does it just smooth over lumps from growing or stretching?

  4. S. Mehrens: The belly band works in a lot of different ways. It smooths out your belly and holds it tight - works well for smoothing out belly buttons if they pop out (like mine does when I'm pregnant). I wore it in this photo to cover up unbuttoned pants, but I've also worn it over my bust to cover cleavage under a low cut shirt. It does not flatten your stomach, but it is supposed to smooth out lines and it does offer some support. There are other straps you can wear that actually give your back support too, but they work solely for support, whereas the belly band is primarily to cover up unbuttoned jeans.

    Hope that helps!
